my ARCH ENEMY!! the mosquito. I was hoping to avoid them for a little longer, but it seems that April's balmy weather has hatched a new, voracious horde. They come in stealth, sneaking into my apartment one at a time. Snipers in the night with the dual mission of leaving me itchy AND insane.
I think they know, on some level, that if they can't find a juicy area of flesh, all they have to do is buzz around their victim's ear a little in order to rouse her into a rage, thus releasing her body from the confines of the comforter.
There's only one mosquito in my place right now and it's hiding, waiting for nightfall when it will attack again. I actually had to wake up and spray myself with bug repellent in order to go back to sleep. Why am I so delicious?!?!
